I was so scared because I’m pregnant so I’m very picky with my foods right now but it was delicious! I got the mini empanadas that came with 4 different fillings. I was offered a green non spicy and red spicy sauce that were both full of flavor. I also got a passion fruit drink. Very nice people too explained the menu to me since I’ve never had Venezuelan food before. Hope you guys give it a try there wasn’t many people in there. I will definitely come back

The El Dorado of South American food...if you can find it! The Good: Food and service are bang-on. Cannot wait for my next visit. The Bad... 1) Location is obscure, behind the prominent shops near Walton Way: look closer to Bell Blvd. Not readily visible unless you’ve been here before. GPS struggled. 2) They couldn’t help with directions when we called, even with 2 of us being bilingual and fluent. 3) Their outdoor sign is small and dim, especially at night, which adds to the hidden nature. Other folks called in after we arrived with the same challenge, and same result. 4) They were short staffed on 12/10, so one person was having to be a server AND field all the calls and to-go orders. Not good, and not her fault. Hopefully this is a 1-off and not the norm? 5) No longer serving alcohol, which may be a plus (or a deal breaker) for you. The Final Word: If you crave South American food in the CenTex area, your choices are limited, which makes this place a VERY special find. Go try it for yourself, and thank me later.

Absolutely would recommend if you’re looking for a delicious experience! The staff was fast, friendly and efficient. Everything tasted delicious and presentation was lovely. The vibe was chill and the food was so comforting. 10/10 Thank you guys for a wonderful experience.

The food was absolutely incredible, I'm usually picky when it comes to Latin foods since I'm from a Latin family. But this absolutely shattered my expectations. The meat was delicious and juicy. The amarillos were perfectly sweet. And Angeli was attentive! Definitely got a returning customer!!

Wow, we just had an exceptionally good meal at Fogonero. We enjoyed the fresh, high quality ingredients and food cooked to perfection. That salad....avocado and hearts of palm. So good. The steak was to die for. The shocking thing is that they are not busy at all. Service was friendly and quick. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere and the people there were amazing! I ordered these two dishes and they were the best I ever had! I recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Venezuelan food.

Amazing food! My wife and her parents are from Venezuela and they said it was super authentic and just wonderful. It was a little bit of home for them. We were surprised by the quality for such a small place. You would expect this kind of food at a larger more upscale restaurant. Do yourself and favor and check it out!!! Nice family owned business and our server Wilson was great!
